If you are an incoming engineering declared second year student, you should have been assigned an Engineering Academic Advisor. Please make sure to check your email for a welcome email from your new Academic Advisor.
Your Academic Advisor will be able to assist you with developing academic goals, course scheduling, major advising, and career and professional development and much more!
SECOND YEAR WELCOME EVENTS!
All second-year students are invited to our annual School of Engineering Welcome Open House! Starting the week of October 3, we will be hosting a series of virtual and in-person events to help you transition to the School of Engineering.
Presentation/Meet and Greet
On October 3, we will host a welcome Meet and Greet/presentation to review important information such as school policies, Jump Start Your Third Year, campus resources, and more. After the presentation, you will have the opportunity to meet your academic advisor and campus resources staff.
Time: 2pm-2:45pm

School of Engineering Faculty Network Mixer
On October 6, the School of Engineering advising will host our new event: School of Engineering Faculty Network Mixer. You will have the opportunity to hear and interact with Engineering faculty.

SOE Virtual Upper Division Student Panel
On October 10, you will have the opportunity to hear from Engineering students about resources, how to be successful in your courses and more. At the end of the panel, you will be invited to interact and ask panelist questions.

Participating in any SOE Open House event will give you the opportunity to be entered in a drawing to win a SOE T-Shirt or a $50 gift card!!!
These events may count towards your Jump Start Your Third Year meeting requirement.
