Course Approval
Use this form to submit requests for course approvals for summer courses taken elsewhere, courses taken abroad through UC EAP, or other unarticulated courses.
Excess Units
Use this form to submit a request for more than 18 units in a given semester. Please note, you must either have earned (3.5 GPA for the Fall term for Freshman) or (3.0 GPA last semester and prior semester for all additional students).
Multiple Major Application
Students planning to complete multiple majors at UC Merced should complete this packet.
Petition for Program Variance
Allows School of Engineering students to petition the following:
- To take a course prerequisite concurrently with that course
- To substitute a required course (UC Merced courses only)
- To substitute a technical elective (UC Merced courses only)
Taking Classes at Another Institution (Limited)
This petition is intended for students who wish to petition for cross enrollment at any other instution outside of Merced College. For Merced College you must participate in Intersegmental Cross Enrollment Program: http://registrar.ucmerced.edu/services/special-programs#ICE
Subsequent Repeat Petition
